The ideal candidate will control and manage implementation of all capital investment projects for capital repair in the Company including new construction, reconstruction, technological equipment and systems enhancement.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinates and controls all phases of assigned projects from concept and scope development to hand over for go live.
Prepares technical and finance documents and specifications for capital projects. Provides updates and reports upon request. Leads the procurement process related to project. Controls execution of all capital projects per agreed cost, schedule, and performance.
Serves as technical support of the manufacturing and the commissioning engineers concerning analysis of technical problems and answering of technical inquiries.
Supervises and manages contractors work, equipment production and installation for all projects with compliance to Alcoa, Federal / State, Environmental, Health and Safety policies, and Company’s policies and standards.
Knows health and safety requirements established by the law and the employer and follows all applicable health and safety rules and procedures. Understands potential harmful and (or) hazardous production factors and knows how to control / prevent them.
Required Academic Qualification & Experience:
Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Project Management
Minimum 5 years related working experience (Engineering, Project Management); actively involved in industrial projects, good knowledge and experience on machinery, building and utilities standards, EHS
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of English (verbal and written)
Advance level of MS office programs, confident AutoCAD user
Project Management and basic financial skills
Team player
Time-conscious, focused, organized, results driven
