The Ayuda en Acción Foundation is an international organization working in development and humanitarian work. Ayuda en Acción Ethiopia is registered as foreign Charity organization in Ethiopia and working in partnership with multiple development actors, government sectors, communities and their organizations to eradicate poverty. Our primary task is to promote improvements in the individual and collective capacities of the children, families and communities with whom we work.Job Purpose:The successful candidate will report to the Finance manager and be responsible for the day to day support and management and administration of the Finance, Accounts, procurement and asset management. The post holder works within the framework of finance and adminstration policies, procedures, manuals set by AeA and the country Office, ensuring all AeA policies, procedures, donor regulations, accounting standards, and other local laws are ensured at all times. Specific Tasks and Responsibilities are:-Accounting:Take part in the preparation of annual plan and budget of the country office, programs/projects and partners with functions, partners and communities,Handle petty cash and bank transactions, conduct payments from petty cash and bank as per the approved documents,Prepare bank and petty cash reconciliation on monthly basisPrepare payroll and related journals on monthly basisReview travel and training documents,Follow up staff advances and check and report timely settlement as per the AeA and donor Financial Policy to ensure compliance and timely collection;Check the supporting documents, record vouchers daily to respective register books and enter into Financial System to ensure and comply with the requirements of proper record keeping and documentation;Make sure all statutory liabilities like income tax, pension, withholding tax, and requirements settled on monthly basisSupport the finance manager in continuous monitoring and pre auditing of the partners and stakeholders financial management processes on project and regular program of direct operational areas of AeAE, partners, communities to ensuring financial integrity and report compilation process ; Support the Finance manager in carrying out grant assessment and reporting for the grants released to CBOs, government sector offices and other actors by the project and regular AeAE program and recommend the Possible actions following the outcomes of the assessment;Support the Finance manager in exercising best skills, standards IFRS/IPSAS in transaction documentation, coding, data entry, variance analysis and timely communication to AeA international office, internal and external stakeholders and auditors; Support the finance manager in Producing project and statutory and management financial information to report to the AeA head office, country office and respective national government sectors,Administration:Understand the various policies and procedures of AeA and support the implementation; Support the country office in carrying out local procurement processes as per the AeA and donor policy & procedure; Support the Finance manager in administering assets and properties (equipment, furniture, other office facilities) in the country office as per AeA policies and procedures,Support the country office in mid and end year inventory counts together with concerned staffs; Perform other duties given by the Finance Manager,JOB OFFER CONDITIONS:Incorporation: ImmediatelyType of Contract: Fixed term
