[Ethiopian Herald] Despite challenges North Amhara industry and manufacturing Sector has been showing progress and moving at right direction in-terms of creating jobs and realizing economic structure North Amhara Shoa Administration announced.

[Ethiopian Herald] Following the unrest Ethiopia faced for the last three years has significantly dwarfed its economies and foreign currency. This has clearly led the country to socio-economic crisis.

[Ethiopian Herald] Last Saturday, people from all walks of life forming huge crowd which is the first in the history of Ethiopia gathered at Meskel Square. These people had been there mainly to extend unreserved support to the Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed who has been making miracles in terms of uniting his fellow citizens for a noble cause - seeing united and prosperous Ethiopia that will soon play a big role in creating greater Horn in particular and united Africa in general.

[Ethiopian Herald] It was the area where formerly known for being centre of recreation by traditional and motor boats and giving astonishing landscape to walk all around the edge of the lake. But, now almost nearly 80 percent of the land formerly constituted by water body of the lake is dried and serving as farming plot. Especially on the north and eastern part of the lake, vast farming activities are being taken place. There are also unrestricted cattle grazing areas.

[Ethiopian Herald] Promoting awareness raising activities on electoral system using various media outlets is crucial for the country to conduct free, fair and credible election for the years to come, a Media Trainer said.

[Ethiopian Herald] The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Amb (Eng) Mahboub Maalim, condemned in the strongest terms the attack of last Saturday here on a peaceful rally in support of the new Prime Minister's efforts, and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Prime Minister of the Democratic Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Dr Abiy Ahmed.
