Federal Ministry of Health would like to recruit professionals with contract for the following post:Position: Human Resource Information system data encoderRequired Number of professionals: 2 (two)Place of work: FMoH Human resource administration directorateSalary: NegotiableDuration of employment: contract for a period of six months with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds.Duties and Responsibilities:

Encode and decoding HR data and update records
Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software and related infrastructure.
Ensures the system hardware, operating systems, software system and related procedures adhere to FMOH values, enabling staff
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Contribute to and maintain system standards
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are create and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Upgrade and configure system software
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning

Languages: Fluency in oral and written English is required.Educational Background and Experience: B.A degree from a recognized university in computer Science and related fields and 0 years or Diploma and two years of relevant work experience;Additional skills and/or areas of expertise: Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment; Possess a positive attitude and ability to “thinks outside the box”.Experience and ability to capacitate and transfer technical knowledge for internal staffs and providing advice, training and technical support for various projects;Additional Requirements: Committed to FMoHs vision, mission and core values.*As new priorities emerge, the FMoH may periodically revise the TOR for this position

The Gambella region of Ethiopia is hosting approximately. 400,000 refugees from South Sudan. NRC is responding to the needs of the refugees by providing shelter, education and livelihoods support in collaboration with the Government of Ethiopia, UNHCR and other partners. NRC is in 2018 also establishing a ICLA (Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance).
NRC is looking for a Programme Manager who will be responsible for integrating programmes, represent NRC at coordination forums, provide input into strategy and manage a team of project coordinators. The Programme Manager will be based in Gambella with significant travel to camps within the Area.
Job description
• Responsible for ensuring programme support to integrated programme, coordination and technical quality in Area office • Provide area specific input relevant for CC strategies • Line management for Core Competence project coordinators and M&E coordinator • Ensure capacity building of all programme and M&E staff • Compliance to donor standards, and grant management and regular reporting to donors in the Area • Identify funding opportunities and develop funding strategy and forecasts • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and extracting and implementing key learnings from project implementation • Representation in sectorial coordination and working groups at Gambella level • Responsible for Project Cycle Management in Area, including Grants start-up, review and Closure meetings • Support area program strategy development; organise assessments and research and analysis • Promote collaboration and networking with local, national and regional actors • Seek innovation and technology solutions to enhance project impact • Promote the rights of refugees in line with the advocacy strategy • Ensure communication and donor visibility in media • Coordinate new emergency response in Area • Deputize the Area Manager as required
Qualifications
• Minimum first level university/Bachelors degree in relevant and related field • Minimum 4 years’ experience from a management position in a humanitarian/ recovery context • Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts • Expertise in one of NRC's Core Competencies (thematic areas) • Excellent knowledge and experience on Project Cycle Management, integrated programming and durable solutions • Experience in implementation of projects in the sectors of: shelter, WASH, education and livelihoods expertise • Knowledge of South Sudanese Refugee situation and/or experience from working in Ethiopia, highly desirable • Capacity to deliver results with limited access to systems (software, internet, mobile network) • Fluency in English, both written and verbal • Ability to lead and manage a team
