    The AP’s SEE4C Officer provides leadership to the effective execution of WVE education program components based on WVE education program strategy and design and model sat AP level to address educational needs of all children in targeted areas to attain life skill developmental needs children. The role of SEE4C officer at AP level is highly focused and should be driven as a vital contribution to ensure the wellbeing of children.     Plan, facilitate and undertake integrated Education sector programs within his/her designated AP kebele administration in collaboration with respective specialists focusing on WVE education sector program implementation strategy and implementation guide line.
    Carry out school-based mapping and conduct assessments across school catchment areas to improve children’s development to reach to their full potential, to achieve a better result in their learning outcomes, enhance life skill development of children and improve their reading skills.
    Establish periodic and structured group discussion of parent groups and community representatives at the locality/residential area level to support children learning in preprimary and primary level and youth development areas.
    Strengthen SMC/SIC/PTSA for parent participation and community engagement in the development of both school and cluster-wide action plans for preprimary and primary school age children to improve child development, Adolescent/Youth development; teaching and learning outcomes; reading skills, basic math, and essential life skills of children.
    Establish and implement community-based resource center activities such as scaling up of Child Development Center, early childhood care and development, Youth development and empowerment activities, vocational skills training for out of school children, and adult services, etc. education programs set as a multi-purpose activity in the center.
    Plan, organize and conduct capacity building trainings to AP staff and other education stakeholders and facilitate sessions based WVE education program models on conceptual understanding of quality education program implementation and its practices.
    Facilitate the engagement of appropriate local counterparts in the process of contextualizing best practices, new innovative ideas that support WVE education program interventions in AP targeted education program areas that improve educational materials, produce more learning resource materials that can help children’s learning to improve the learning outcome of children at different levels
    Collaborate with other WVE AP level specialists and provide technical support to fully and adequately address gender issues, inclusive education interventions in their respective kebele administration/schools by mainstreaming relevant cross-cutting issues (Gender, disability, protection, etc)
    Organize and arrange the setup of periodic school level/community level meetings for lessons learned and show demonstrated school level achievements and community level contribution on WVE education program interventions implementation to improve the next level program implementation and show a better result to achieve the intended goal
    Supervise all WVE education program initiatives implemented in assigned APs and support and work with Government supervisors, assigned community represented program committees, assigned program volunteer for each school catchment area who, in turn, oversee community level education program implementation for a better result to improve access to quality education program intervention based on WVE program strategy and designed to all level of the program for the targeted children and youth
    Monitor and follow up the effective engagement of education stakeholders: Government, Community, Institutions, etc. to implement WVE Education program initiatives as per the AP priority areas based on school age children educational needs on preprimary; primary and Adolescent and Youth development and empowerment program focus areas
    Establish strong networking and partnership with stakeholders to execute quality education program initiatives for a better result to enhance children development and education outcomes at all levels
    Organize success/best stories, so that they can be documented, prepared, shared, and documented at least once per quarter
    Assure that sponsorship is fully integrated into the planning, implementation, and monitoring systems of the SEE4C TP plan
    Monitor an assigned portfolio of registered children as per the sponsorship standards in coordination with a group of volunteers and AP institutions.
    Support the capacity development of volunteers and institutions to manage RC communications and program mobilization.
    Handle all sponsorship operations and data collection of RCs , and families participations in assigned PFA

     
    Required Professional Experience
     

    Minimum 3 years NGO experiences in the area of Education programming.1.
    Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in design and management of Education Program

    Establish periodic and structured group discussion of parent groups and community representatives at the locality/residential area level to support children learning in preprimary and primary level and youth development areas.
    Strengthen SMC/SIC/PTSA for parent participation and community engagement in the development of both school and cluster-wide action plans for preprimary and primary school age children to improve child development, Adolescent/Youth development; teaching and learning outcomes; reading skills, basic math, and essential life skills of children.
    Establish and implement community-based resource center activities such as scaling up of Child Development Center, early childhood care and development, Youth development and empowerment activities, vocational skills training for out of school children, and adult services, etc. education programs set as a multi-purpose activity in the center.
    Plan, organize and conduct capacity building trainings to AP staff and other education stakeholders and facilitate sessions based WVE education program models on conceptual understanding of quality education program implementation and its practices.
