Implementing partners: LVIA funded by AICS (Italian Agency for Development) Economic Expert for Agriculture and Agribusiness DevelopmentMain duties:Developing deep understanding and mastery of ‘Economic and Agri-business Development’ facilitation among chain actors and enabler partners including coaching, relationship building, communicating and entrepreneurialism/business understanding and innovatingCoordinating and conducting mapping of service and actors in cereal and vegetable value chain in collaboration with other staffs of LVIA-COOPI staffs, Iceaddis and other partnersPeriodically assess the gaps throughout the value chain and recommend alternative solutions to fill the gapsFacilitate Workshops and training related to creating awareness on areas of financial literacy, access to financial loans and other related topicsAssessing financial institutions providing and/or ready to provide financial services to the targeted local enterprises, with both advantage and disadvantages with each financial institutions, and give direction for the consortium and the partnersSupports the implementation of activities related to the improvement of services for access to credit and investment for enterprises and actors involved in the target agricultural sectors; supports training and skills transfer to local partners for the development of investment and improvement of financing in the agricultural sectorProvides technical inputs relating to the target agricultural supply chain to achieve project resultsCarries out field visits to verify the activities developed and implementedDiscusses with direct beneficiaries and stakeholders and comes back with important lessons and learning and inputs for decision makingPrepare field activity reports and minutesFacilitate strong partnership among stakeholders and actors related with Agri-value chain in the project areasProject Area: Oromia Regional State, Arsi Zone, Tiyo , Shirka and Ziway Dugda Districts, west Arsi Zone Adaba and Dodloa Districts and Sinana District of Bale ZoneAvailability: as soon as possible Type of employment: 1year contract with the possibility of extension. Salary: Negotiable (transport allowance + pension fund and medical insurance + plus other organization benefits will be included).
