Lead the Route to Consumer work streams for Commercial during all stages of the Route to Consumer transformation; Diagnosis, Design, Pilot and Implementation
Define the market customer segmentation model, portfolio for each segment, DWDM and Diageo Way of World Class sales standards for each segment
Define the service levels required for each customer segment defining how each segment & outlet will be serviced and what skill set is required (contact & coverage strategy)
Define the distributor & wholesaler segmentation model and assess current partners
Co-Define the commercial trade terms for Distributors and 3rd party customers with in market Finance lead and Supply lead
Utilize Africa best practice toolkits against all commercial work-streams to define the prescribed process & KPIs for the market.
Toolkits to include: Field Sales Process, Key Account Process, Distributor & Wholesaler Process, Innovation Process
Active participation in the in-market governance as well as Africa Regional governance (to include members of Diageo Africa Executive & Global Route to Consumer team)
Qualifications And Experience Required
6+ years strong track record in Sales and related areas ideally at a management level
Demonstrates a strong and dedicated understanding towards the RTC needs and basic requisites
S&OP experience is a distinct advantage
Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
Experience with Excel and SAP knowledge is advantageous
Supported by a BA Degree or higher academic qualification
Fluency in written and spoken English and Amharic
