About the Position
WorldRemit is opening a representative office in Ethiopia to support customers and manage local marketing activities and are looking for a Customer Service Executive. This newly created role will be based in Addis Ababa.
Day to day activities:
? Being the first point of contact for remittance receivers in Ethiopia and to assist them in getting their transactions paid in a timely fashion.
? Working closely with WorldRemit's partners i.e. local banks and mobile money providers to resolve any issues.
? Liaising with the Customer Service and Operation Teams in London and Denver to answer queries from send customers.
? Leveraging their existing IT systems to track, monitor and process all customer transactions.
? Supporting other departments such as Finance in handling queries with partners etc.
? Collaborating with the country director to arrange and coordinate local marketing initiatives.
