As we create and implement unparalleled programs in new communities globally, we expand delivery of healthcare and influence over policy with the sole aim of saving more lives.Currently AHF is providing HIV treatment and care to more than 930,000 patients in 41 countries worldwide. Headquartered at Los Angeles, California, USA, AHF is striving to replicate such achievents to countries like Ethiopia so that needy citizens get the chance to benefit from the program.To deliver the said services effectively and efficiently, AHF wishes to recruit a dynamic, skilled, committed, self-driven, and result oriented professionals to fill required positions.Essential duties and responsibilities:-In close collaboration with the ART Clinician and other clinical staffs, ensure the provision of comprehensive, quality, evidence based ART, PMTCT, TB/HIV co management, OI management, and Prevention with positive (Pwp), STI/SCM, care for HEI, management of malnutrition, FP integration, retention to care, treatment failure, MDR TB, etc.Refill regular medication for patients who do not need physician attention and facilitate physician consultation as neededSupport community component of the program including outreaches and mobilization for care and treatmentParticipate in review meetings and CAM as required and share the experience and resolution to MDATProvide adherence counseling during initiation of ART and preparation for ARV treatmentTake part in Adherence Support Group activities: Recruitment, coordination of meeting, etc.Facilitate disclosure of HIV test result with designated patient supporter or partner/familyCoordinate the adherence support program: Supervise Adherence Supporter’s daily activity (including appointment calendar registration, defaulter tracing), review their report, coordinate treatment support groupsCoordinate the nutrition support program including registration and reporting.Coordinate HEI program including registration and reportingEstablish and strengthen the referral linkage of patient for community service and within the facility. Register and follow the outcome of the referral and support patients in the preparation of medical certificate, medical reports. and related servicesParticipate in the multidisciplinary AIDS team (MDAT) meetingsCoordinate HIV-FP integration: Avail FP methods, counsel and provide methods, register and reportCoordinate TB-DOTS program: TB/HIV activities: TBIC, intensive case finding and INH provision, registration, monitoring, and reportingTake part in the implementation of a continuous quality assurance and improvement program at the clinical service by participating in qualitative/quantitative measurement on regular basis. Strive for high quality and client centered service (simplified work flow & shorter waiting time)Ensure accurate and timely documentation and utilization of national ART recording formats of all treatment services (i.e. patient chart forms, lab investigation result, FP register, HEI) and other facility specific clinical service registration formats (such as daily registration). Prepare and deliver reports using the appropriate formatsIn collaboration with the ART Clinician, provide emergency care for clients who need pre-referral resuscitationParticipate in the development of annual/quarter plan and monitor their implementation
