Agriterra
A call to bid for consultancy service to develop project plan, for the years 2019-2021.Agriterra is Dutch based international development agency founded and steered by the farmers’ organizations and agricultural cooperatives in the Netherlands. Agriterra has been registered and licensed by the FDRE charities and Societies Agency as a foreign charity in accordance with the charities and societies proclamation No.621/2009 with accreditation No. 3513 issued on 5th October 2015. Its mandate is to strengthen producer’ organizations worldwide, among other activities it supports co-operative farmer-led economic development in developing countries. Objective The objective of this assignment is to develop a complete project plan, for the years 2019-2021, by undertaking a comprehensive study on the cooperative sector (agriculture, livestock, dairy) specifically focusing on the capacity challenges and opportunities. The project plan is expected to get the acceptance of CSA and the beneficiaries in the sector. Some of the Specific Objectives: Thoroughly investigate the Agricultural cooperatives key capacity challenges and present recommendations for future interventions under the project. Having reviewed the results of the previous project, determine key intervention components to be addressed under new project plan (Considering enduring components from the previous project). Examine the federal cooperative sector development strategy and suggest interventions aligned to the strategy.  Prepare project cost estimate and financial plan,Appropriation the budget for each region for each year, to be approved by regional BoFED
