Ayuda en Acción Ethiopia is registered as foreign Charity organization in Ethiopia and working in partnership with multiple development actors, government sectors, communities and their organizations to eradicate poverty. Our primary task is to promote improvements in the individual and collective capacities of the children, families and communities with whom we work.Job purpose:Ayuda en Acción is seeking experienced candidates for the position of field program Finace officer for its Wolayita development Area to provide support in finace, budgeting, grant, administration and property managements. The Wolayita development program is based in a long term territorial development approach working in several sectors as education, children empowerment, WASH, and resilient livelihoods and women empowerment among others in Wolayita zone woredas.Position Description: The successful candidate will report to the Field Program manager of Wolayita and be responsible for the day to day support and management and administration of the Finance, Accounts, procurement and asset management. The post holder works within the framework of finance and adminstration policies, procedures, manuals set by AeA and the country Office, ensuring all AeA policies, procedures, donor regulations, accounting standards, and other local laws are ensured with at all times.Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:Report to the Field Program Manager of Wolayita and functional relations with the Finace manager at the country office.Carry out the day to day fiancial transactions as per the accounting standards and finacial proceduresHandle petty cash and bank payments and transfers with in the field program,Make sure all statutory liabilities like income tax, pension, withholding tax, and requirments settled in montly basis,Prepare bank and petty cash reconcialiation in monthly basis,Prepare payroll and related journals in monthly basis,Review travel and training documents,Support the Field program manager in purchase of assets and properties and carry out records as per the procedures, Check and report financial processes, transactions, procurtment and asset records are periodically performed and reviewed for compliance, adequacy and completeness for discussions and approval,Understand, be familiar with any system security and safety procedures and requirements to human resources management, to protect the completeness, accuracy and integrity of accounting data and information, asset management and reporting,Carry out other duties given from the field program managerOffer TermsImmediate incorporation and full working day,Fixed/permanent contract with probation period indicated in the law of Ethiopia.Duty station: Addis Ababa with field travel to support program/project areas in different parts of the country
