United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)Senior Programme Coordinator (Jijiga)The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Senior Programme Coordinator (Jijiga)who support the International Programme Coordinator in monitoring and provision of technical support during programme implementation including the coordination of the implementation of UNDP Livelihoods Recovery and Resilience Building initiatives to ensure the timely delivery of quality results; M&E, Reporting and Communications; Partnerships, Representation and Advocacy and Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening.Contract type: Service Contract (SB5) - *Service Contract is a non-staff contractual modality.Duration: One year (renewable).Qualification and experience: Master’s degree or equivalent in Disaster Risk Management. International Development Studies and discipline relevant to disaster reduction with focus on livelihoods recovery and resilience building.Interested applicants must have at least 6 years of progressively responsible in the field of humanitarian assistance, emergency response with considerable experience in the field of early recovery, and its nexus with livelihoods response and long-term resilience building and knowledge and experience from disaster response operations, including management of implementation of food security and livelihoods recovery, disaster risk reduction and resilience building project and programmes is desirable.
