POSITION SUMMARY The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic design, implementation and management of a range of on-line & off-line communication strategies coupled with efficient sales strategy and industry engagement. The position holder should work on strategies to attract a significant number of clients to meet targeted revenue through a combined effort of the sales and marketing team.The work is often challenging and fast-paced which requires strong skills in sales and marketing with extensive knowledge of customer service, high level persuasion skill, excellent organizational, timely communication and exemplary leadership accompanied by self-motivation, proactive thinking and determination.

KEY DIMENTIONS:Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Team building and coordination of sales and marketing activities by establishing objectives, territories, quotas and set performance goals.Develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches to position ‘Prana Events’ attract clients/partners and win competitionsManage the corporate branding, PR and press relationsPrepare various communications (Concept Notes, Brochures, email, social media post, blogs, etc. …)Identifying new opportunities and develop sales and marketing propositions in order to increase levels of business activity and revenueEnsure sales targets are achieved per month and/or per eventKeeping abreast of market developments and identify new sales growth areasPrepare, develop and manage sales, marketing and communication materialsCoordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.Oversee and lead the company sales and marketing activities and budgetEstablish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.Collaborate with cross functional teams and maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant functional teams are kept informed of sales and marketing objectives.Other activities as per the instruction of superiors.Sales
Ensure potential and existing customers database are updated and key stakeholders contact are included. Keep yourself and the sales team with up-to-date industry knowledge, market trends and economic development related to the sectors we operateEnsure adequate preparation for each sales call and that you and the team are fully equipped at all times with a range of effective ideas, data and latest information.Ensure expected telephone call rates are achieved consistentlyEnsure the smooth correlation of exhibitor contracts to floor planEnsuring the smooth running of the trade fairs during build up, the event open times and breakdown in coordination with concerned functional team and vendorsCarry out regular fact-finding exercises in order to gain a clear understanding of market trends, customers’ businesses and their requirements.Ensure adequate knowledge of similar Tradeshows/events and monitor competitor’s sales and marketing activities.Support sales team to close deals & provide territory cover during periods of absence.Oversee progress of sales performance against plans and take corrective action to guarantee achievement of sales objectives falls within targeted monetary returns.Marketing
Plan and implement direct marketing approaches including targeting, personalization and measurability;Develop digital and web strategy to maintain ‘Prana Events’ strong online reputation,Create, adapt, improve and optimize web communication for SEO besides organic and keyword search Develop and manage social media profiles and quality content on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant social media outletsCraft email campaigns, Newsletters and blogs with compelling custom contentManage inbound marketing system, including campaign development, data analysis, customer profiling and segmentationOptimize print, social media and blog campaigns to generate interaction, brand exposure, and salesIdentify appropriate print and social media channels for targeted campaignsEstablish an effective presence in trade magazines and social media sitesRecruitment and maintenance of media partnershipsDevelop and implement customer service response to common complaints and a process in which they are resolved and communicated
