Head of Purchasing and Cost Control
Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa which is centrally located in Kazanchis Business District adjacent to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa conference hall (UNECA-AA) and just eight kilometres from Bole International Airport would like to announce the Head of Purchasing and Cost Control open position.
We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking individual to lead and manage our purchasing and cost control team. The post holder will be responsible for all local and international purchases and all purchasing related contracts as well as managing and leading the cost control department. As this is a Department Head position the post holder will also be responsible for line managing a team.
Job Requirements:
Competencies and Qualifications:
BA degree in Accounting, Purchasing or related field of study from a well recognized university
Minimum of five years experience in purchasing or related fields , at least two of these years in a managerial position
Self-starter
Ability to lead and manage
High level of written and spoken English
Ability to work as part of a team
Good understanding and knowledge of the market in Addis and internationally
Good communicator
Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
Experience in contract drafting for both local and international service providers
Computer literate
