Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the pre hospital and hospital emergency care services; commercial first aid and ambulance service in accordance with the regulatory requirement.Develops commercial first aid and ambulance service policy, strategy, operational standard and guideline and ensure implementation upon approval;Develop and implement a strategic and operational plan for the service that addresses: mission, staff development issues, quality improvement, financial performance, market assessment and analysis, and fleet management.Oversees and ensures responses to emergency calls involving accidents, disasters or medical emergencies are timely and quickly effected.Make sure that all commercial first aid and ambulance service professionals; emergency medical technicians, ambulance vehicle drivers etc. are ready to provide 24 hours service to emergency needs.Benchmark key performance indicators and major processes in order to move towards best practices and assure consistency of these indicators across the collaborative network
SKILLS REQUIRED: Any special training and experience in managing commercial First Aid, ambulance and other prehospital medical services is mandatory.Qualification Requirements: MBA or BA in Business management/ Economics/Marketing, OR MSc/BSc in Emergency Health/ public health/ Health officer/ PharmacyWork Experience: 6/8 years practical work experience in managing prehospital medical services out of which 2 years in a supervisory or senior professional position(s)2. Job Title: Office AssistantWork Unit/ Project/ Program: DRR department/ Migration and Restoring Family Links coordinatorTerms of employment: Contract for one yearPlace of Work: Addis AbabaSalary: birr 8,813.00Under the direction of the Migration and Restoring Family Links coordinator, office assistant performs:-MAIN TASK
Plans, directs, coordinates and controls the overall migration and restoring family links operations of the Society and Provide regular technical support to branches staffs, government offices and communitiesDocument of good practices, develop case studies, organize lessons sharing events and scale up the good practice for wider communities and Networks with stakeholders within and out of the Movement and handles communication matters of the Society’s restoring family links service with themPromoting innovation, livelihood diversification and action research on youth employmentCoordinates and facilitates the activities of collecting, sorting, dispatching, exchanging and tracking the statuses of tracing requests and Red Cross Messages (RCM’s);Coordinates training programs for branches and other concerned work units of the Society on principles of tracing and other related issues
Qualification Requirements: First degree in Management/business administration/ Secretarial Science and Office Management /Social work/ Psychology/Sociology and 2 year work experience or related field and experience
