MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DETAILSAssist in verifying quotations are accepted and signed and stamped by client prior to opening a new file.Assists in receiving documents from clients to be able to open fileAssists in advising the client any missing documents to be able to open file Assists in following up to receive missing documentsAssists in opening file using the documents receivedAssists in handling over to customs assessors for further registration and  clearanceAssists in follow up registration and advise amount of duty and taxes to be paidAssists in follow up to receive CPO or duty free letterAssists in follow up inspection and result of inspectionAssists in follow up loading Assists in follow up truck delivery for real time updates and arrival.Assists in follow up release and deliveryAssists in receiving POD after deliveryAssists in requesting any disbursements to be made on behalf of the clientAssists in follow up arrangement of cash, cheque or CPO for disbursementsAssists in follow up finalization of customs declarationAssists in keeping records and timely reportingAssists in Administrative tasks of the department’s Logistics coordinatorsAssists in other related tasks required to deliver cargo on a timely manner.
