Organization background Doctors with Africa CUAMM is an international NGOs, based in Italy, established in 1950 with the aim of supporting developing countries in their effort to build sustainable and accessible health systems. The organization’s mission is to reduce the needless loss of lives in development and emergency contexts caused by lack of effective health care, and to contribute to improve health outcomes among the most vulnerable group of the population. CUAMM, in collaboration with Gambella Regional Health Bureau and Gambella Town, Gambella Zuria and Abobo Woreda Health Offices is going to implement the project “Increased Equity and Quality for Health Services in Gambella Region” with the primary aim ofincreasing the capacity of health care workers to provide quality MNCH services, strengthen the linkage between health centers and health posts and strengthen the HMIS for capturing quality data.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:Collaborate with the local authorities in developing the supportive supervision plan Collaborate with the local authorities in developing the appropriate tools (check lists) and data base to ensure a standard collection of health statistics Organize and conduct joint supportive supervision on regular basisProvide technical assistance at primary health care unit (PHCU) on managing health related issuesWork closely with CUAMM team in the organization and coordination of health facility-based activities  Support the CUAMM team in the relations with local stakeholders (i.e. GRHB, WoHO, local Administrative Authorities etc.) in relation with health facility-based activitiesSupport the organization and smooth running of training activities, collaborating closely with any identified trainer Provide monthly reports on the activities run, detailing main challenges and results achieved When requested, represent CUAMM, participating in health facility coordination meetings at Regional, Zonal and Woreda levelPerform any other additional task, when asked Duty Station: Gambella town, Gambella and Abobo Woredas – Gambella RegionType of Employment:6 (six)months with possible extension- 45 days probation periodSalary:as per the organization salary scale /project budget (max 13,000.00 Gross Salary – Net approx. 9,000.00 ETB) Reports to: Gambella Project/Area Manager
