Our Profile People in Need is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded on the ideals of humanity, freedom, equality and solidarity. People in Need was established in 1992 by a group of Czech war correspondents, journalists and activists and has grown to become one of the largest non-profit organization in Central and Eastern Europe. Throughout our 30 years of existence, People in Need continues to engage in humanitarian aid, development cooperation, education and social inclusion. We have been operating in Ethiopia since 2003, working in four regions; Oromia, SNNP, Sidama and Tigray in different multi sectoral projects in the areas of development and emergency response. PIN currently invites qualified applicants for the position of: Field coordinator for the project entitled‘‘ Education in Emergency (EiE) and institutional WASH services support to conflict affected populations in central Zone of Tigray‘‘ for Emergency Program  Length of Contract: Definite (8 month with 60 working days probation period) Requred:1(One) Job Description  Field Coordinator (FC) is fully responsible for successful implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the project activities and outputs. FC is also responsible to achieve the specific results of the project in proper quality and time. FC works under supervision of a Project Manager, Assist the Project manager in identifying new emergency operation areas through rapid assessment and contribute for the improvement the emergency unit in responding for various disasters, collaborates with woreda government Officials, Community and other PIN staff. As per contract of employment, FC is accountable for the regulation and rule of PIN including core values of the organization.
