Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) building and infrastructure installations. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for site supervision and design review of electrical systems in various projects. This is a senior-level position that requires extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Responsibilities:Conduct site supervision activities for electrical installations in building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local and international codes, and standards. Review and evaluate electrical designs, shop drawings, calculations, specifications, material submittal and method statements for MV and LV systems, ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to applicable regulations and specifications. Follow-up pro-actively on the relevant design, construction and execution activities within the project and provide the necessary support to project team members and managers in drafting up necessary reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural, ICT and mechanical engineers, to ensure coordination and integration of electrical systems with other building/infrastructure components. Conduct comprehensive quality control checks and inspections to identify and resolve electrical installation issues and ensure execution to achieve design intent. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to MV and LV electrical systems, and incorporate best practices into project designs and reviews. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and inspectors, fostering their professional growth and development. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical queries, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met within the specified timelines and budget. Prepare when required needed presentations / reports / minutes of meetings.
