It has since become one of the best and the biggest medical centers operating in Addis Ababa serving more than 120,000 patients in just five years.Purpose Of JobRadiology Technologist is responsible in assessing, evaluating, and testing patients, preparing and positioning patients for imaging, attending to patient needs during imaging procedures, applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices, independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures such as mammograms, X-ray exams, MRIs, or administering radiation to cancer patients, following physician orders to ensure accuracy of image capture, evaluation of captured, images for clarity and accuracy, preparing, administering, and documenting activities related to medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policyTitle: Radiology Technology Required No: Ten (10)Location: Addis AbabaDuration: Full TimeStarting Date: Immediately after contract agreement concludedDuties and Responsibilities: Performs CT and MRI procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality.Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc.Escorts patients to treatment room. Assists with dressings as necessary.Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT/MRI services.Develops and processes radiologic films. Logs radiologic procedures completed.Processes routine paperwork.Provides protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards.Ensures the safety and physical comfort of the patient while in technologists care.Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance.Reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the proper company or facility.Arranges preventive maintenance as recommended by vendor.Follows prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.Orders, logs, and returns outside films requested from other agencies; completes appropriate documentation.Arranges for the release of films to patients and outside agencies.Maintains paperwork for tracking loaned films. Maintains confidentially of all informationrelated to patients  and medical staff.Recognize, study, and assess market trends, competitor offerings, and demographics in order to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.WMC's services and qualities should be promoted at all times
