JOB PURPOSE Support the Human Resource team to develop, implement and administer Eagle Hills’ compensation and benefits policies. This includes salaries, (including all allowances) and all benefits provided by Eagle Hills (health insurance, life insurance. KEY Responsibilities · Monitor the salary structure and benefits provisions to ensure a balance between control of costs, attracting and retaining employees · Conduct job evaluations to ensure the competencies are measured and reflect the correct grading. · Liaise with Director and Heads to determine new and existing positions. · Ensure grading system is accurate and reflects consistent processes for employee contracts. · Ensure all policies and programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements. · Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan · Fulfil all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations · Manage written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies · Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs, including the integration of benefit programs following mergers and acquisitions · Prepare budgets for personnel operations · Implement and administer the payroll system as per timelines, with accuracy and tracking · Manage the payroll system and ensure its integrity and tracking processes (SAP) are correct and tracked for internal auditing processes · Ensure payroll is closed by due date, work with Finance to ensure accurate pay data reflected in tactual payments on every payroll cycle. · Ensure run & close of payroll is documented each month · Review and sign off on month payroll each month. · Ensure all leaves (annual, sick, other leaves) are tracking according to policy and procedures · Ensure all processes accurately reflect approved policies and procedures · Work with IT to coordinate all automated systems to manage C & B requirements · Ensure grading system is consistent and changes administered. · Liaise with Employee Relations to ensure newcomers and exit employees documents and requirements are completed within timelines. · Calculate and administer the annual increments and bonus in accordance to the employee performance cycle · Administer all annual allowances on a regular basis · Review the costs of health and life insurance to manage costs · Follow up on benefits/loans cancellations and tracking of benefits · Ensure monthly and any management ad hoc reports are generated with accuracy to measure costs and budget and any other database requirements · Ensure employee files are accurate and contain the correct information as per Ethiopian law and QHSE auditable and corporate requirements. · Manage the design of tools that assist employees in benefits selection, and guide managers through compensation decisions
