ABOUT US CEFA (European Committee for Training and Agriculture) is a Non-Government Organisation whose headquarter is in Bologna, Italy. CEFA works in North/East Africa and Latin America with international donors, mainly in the following activities: 1) Rural economy with production, transformation and commercialization of agricultural products; 2) Crafting products; 3) Basic infrastructures to guarantee water access, requalification and environment protection of the territory and the use of renewable energies; 4) Technical and Management training. In Ethiopia CEFA is registered since April 2018.ABOUT THE PROJECT Implementation of the activities of CEFA Onlus to be carried out in the cities of Chiro, Dire Dawa and Harar within the project "MAPS: Migration and Access to Protection and Basic Services: integrated interventions on the Eastern migratory route" - AID 12025, in partnership with CIFA (lead partner), CISP and CESVIExpected Results· Project activities implemented as planned and project funds used in accordance with the approved budget;· Project activities implemented in the area of support for endogenous, inclusive and sustainable development of the private sector; · Project activities integrated into the plans foreseen by the competent authorities regarding awareness-raising and communication and implemented in close cooperation with all actors and stakeholders involved.Role and Responsibility: In relation to the achievement of the above-mentioned results, the Social Animator coordinates with the CEFA Livelihood Expert and with the staff of the consortium CSOs for the planning of work and the definition of intervention priorities, in addition The Social Animator will have the following role and responsibility; focusing on all project Activities for the expected outcome 3 by working in close collaboration with other project staffs and micro and small enterprises members to ensure that all the project activity are implemented in a coordinated manner; Being the main contact point for all relevant issues for micro & small enterprises and government stakeholder; · Monitor and supervise all activities of the cooperatives/micro-enterprises development component in Chiro, Dire-Dawa, Harar and maintain ongoing relations with relevant stakeholders; Screen out beneficiaries with project stakeholders and consortium partner create facilitate with governmental stakeholder for the provision of skill & capacity-building training; Help beneficiaries on small business creation, conduct consistent visit to the beneficiaries as a measure to give business development service and provide on job visits to give mentorship; Work closely with Woreda/City administration level government official, partners and relevant stakeholders in all aspects of project out put 3; Train the beneficiary on economic strengthening initiatives including productive assets creation activities, Self Help group (SHG) concept, income-generating projects and provide technical oversight for group-based internal savings and lending schemes; conduct routine data collection and analysis for reporting, Document project impact, compile weekly monthly and quarterly reports; Provide technical & administrative support to the coordination offices when needed Prepare routine plan for field visits based on the implementation schedules; · Study and identify opportunities to give continuity to project actions; Design training package and manuals on production, managerial skill, market access; Co-ordinate the distribution of materials and inputs provided at the intervention area · Collaborate with partners in cross-cutting activities, monitoring, reporting, proper administrative and financial management and achievement of planned outputs and targets· Organize coordination meetings with consortium NGOs and relevant authorities and stakeholders · Prepare the required technical and administrative reports.
