NPI EXPAND invests in new and underutilized local partners (NUPs) and strengthens their capacity to strategize, plan, and implement programs with USAID funds. Enhanced participation of capable local organizations to increase demand for and to deliver high-quality, high impact services will enable governments to meet crucial goals equitably and sustainably. NPI EXPAND will also catalyze opportunities to scale up innovative interventions by strengthening the capacity of NUPs with varying levels of capabilities and exposure to USAID.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Palladium, under the U.S. Agency for International Development-funded program, NPI EXPAND (Cooperative Agreement Number 7200AA19CA00015), is seeking applications from select local organizations to compete for awards that will strengthen their capacity to become providers of organizational development services for civil society organizations implementing health programs. This grant opportunity will identify and select up to two capable local organizations for awards. The support will cover capacity assessment and strengthening as well as business planning and other activities to help the sub-awardees become successful providers of organizational development services.Purpose: Subject: Request for Applications (RFA)– Capacity to strengthen capacity: Support for capable local organizations to strengthen their capacity to provide organizational development services to other organizations working in or focusing on the health sector in EthiopiaImportant Information:Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of Palladium/NPI EXPAND or USAID, nor does it commit Palladium/NPI EXPAND or USAID to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of an application. Final award(s) cannot be made until funds have been fully appropriated, apportioned, allocated, and committed to Palladium/NPI EXPAND’s prime award with USAID. While it is anticipated that these procedures will be successfully completed, potential applicant(s) is/are hereby notified of these requirements and conditions for award.
