LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem and Hawassa. We are recruiting Assistant Manager - HR for an international company engaged in the business process outsourcing sector. SUMMARY: The primary role of this position is to work closely with the respective stakeholders to ensure implementation of HR processes and procedures; compliance and HR risk management at the respective locations. This will include recruitment and selection, employee on-boarding, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, career pathing, separations, employee relations and preparation of monthly HR reports.Main Duties: Ensures delivery of recruitment numbers as per manpower projections.Monitors and maintains HR reporting metrics; and status reporting to ensure tracking of HR activities.Accurate payroll processing and its timely disbursement in conjunction with internal stakeholders.Ensures adherence to Separation Policy and labour law provisions on termination cases – voluntary and involuntary.Ensure statutory compliance; including monthly reporting on compliance to Legal department. Works closely with Location Head and site leadership to ensure good employee relations are maintained.Ensures timely monthly coordination of employee engagement activities at the location including driving monthly reward and recognition initiatives.Ensures Employee Satisfaction Surveys participation and undertakes action planning – as applicable.Implements and coordinates implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.Actively promotes and ensure implementation of succession plans across the location. Coordinates the timely administration of performance management with relevant functional heads.Drives and supports a culture of mentoring, counseling, goal settings, performance feedback, and career growth.Conducts monthly meetings, and regular skip level meetings with employees to monitor and stay abreast of employee satisfaction; and promptly address employee issues.
