BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for assuring the safety, security of guests, associates and the hotel property at bars, ballroom, nightclub, banquet lobby and event venues are properly maintained.  Continuous patrol and monitoring the area of interest with professional appearance for smooth flow of operation and maximum guest satisfaction. Working at bars, nightclubs, events, and other entertainment venues, Doormen are tasked with maintaining the safety of all individuals in the hotel. This generally includes monitoring all entrances and exits, watching the crowd for disputes, quickly controlling clashes, controlling who enters the premises, and monitoring all areas where cash is deposited. Doormen must always remain friendly, professional, calm, and in control of every potential situation. Though schedules may vary, most bouncers work late nights and early mornings.
