It is a joint investment between Ahadu P.L.C & UK based Vasari investment Group. We hence, invite qualified applicants for the following vacant positions. Role purpose general: To manage Cost & Management Accounting functions including: identify trends and opportunities for improvement, analyze and manage risk, proposing  the funding and financing of operations and monitor, reducing operational and production costs and implementing the most effective strategies, and accordingly provide  Management pertinent financial information to enable it make informed decision and ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.Duties & Responsibilities:Plans, organizes and directs all the activities of the cost and management accounting function.Plans, organizes, and coordinates preparation of the Company’s operational budget.Based on Company costing policy control and follow up of costing of goods and services.Analyze and interpret gross margins, cost variances, inventory movements, and other accounting reports as they relate to cost.Analyzes cost prices of raw materials, spare parts, labor, and services to ensure cost effectiveness (profitability) of operations through establishing appropriate costing system.Analyzes the impact of factors affecting costs and profitability of products and services; recommend possible course of action to mitigate negative impact of such factors.  Reviews of the planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting of manufacturing operations.Develops metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers. Develops financial performance measurement standards and accordingly analyze financial statements of the Company. Provides Management with possible alternative courses of action that  improves the performance of the Company  Manages the work of staff under his/her direct supervision; periodically evaluate their performance to identify performance gaps control. Provides training and support to staff/team members to enhance their skills and ensure appropriate level of succession planning.Ensures the efficient, accurate and timely preparation and submission of internal management report and ensure s to leadership. Ensure that the cost and management accounting  and reporting adheres to GAAP  standardsLeads continuous reviews of the reporting processes and performance metric reports to assess operational efficiency and to ensure that processes meet the present and anticipated needs of key stakeholders.Recommend and lead changes in cost accounting methods and procedures.Ensure proper utilization of approved capital and operational budget. Ensure timely reconciliation of stock items with store balance (bin card) and general accounts records.Organize and supervise annual inventory.Perform other related duties as assigned.Terms of Employment-Permanent/Indefinite; Number of Position-1;
