Contribute to assessments by collecting information through qualitative and quantitative data gathering methods (e.g. surveys, interviews, FGDs);Identify local DRR, FSL, WaSH, Health & Nutrition and Child Care Practices/IYCF needs and capacities; and Participate in identifying potential beneficiaries;Organize/reorganize committees and clubs like Kebele Disaster Management Committees (KDMC), WaSH Committees and Care Support Groups in all levels of facilities, schools and institutions;Conduct home and family visits and farm demonstration visits as follow-up on progress of BNFs and Organize regular community meetings;Integrate key messages from soft components of DRR, FSL, WaSH and Health & Nutrition;Plan and conduct different dialogues, group discussions and meetings, demonstrations (i.e. CLTS, cooking, hygiene promotion, IYCF/care practices, play and toy making, feeding), disaster risk preparedness and response exercises with the committees and key people in the community.Involve community members in planning and promotion of disaster preparedness, food security, WaSH;Utilize participatory approach when mobilizing the community;Create awareness on the use of water treatment technologies and water chemicals and facilitate the link between the community and private vendors as well as promotion on positive health seeking behavior;Disseminate the gathered results and community preparedness plan in the community and village level.Conduct post distribution monitoring of drought resistant crop varieties and other selected model as well as WaSH inputs;Close follow up the livestock situation and pasture/forage availability at village level and share timely information to take appropriate action by actors in case of drought/emergency situation; Collect attendance of cash for work participants and daily records in clinic register of vaccination campaign in collaboration with government staffs assigned in his/her village;In consultation with construction supervisor, follow up of construction materials delivered to site and facilitate storage, guarding, mobilization and other social works related to the activity.
