Designs audit procedures to execute the annual audit plan, assess, controls and assesses and controls them to meet audit objectives,
Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems,
Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery and system maintenance,
Directs and/or performs reviews of internal control procedures and security for systems under development and/or enhancements to current systems,
Prepares audit finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions.
Prepares and presents written and oral reports and other technical information in pertinent, concise and accurate manner for distribution to management.
Following up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).
Requirements;B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Management Information Systems with 5 years of relevant experience. In addition Accounting, Business or related qualifications are necessary. Completion of CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is preferable.Place of work: Addis Ababa2. Job Position: Senior AuditorEssential Functions
Assists supervisor in developing audit procedures and preparation of work programs.
Assists in the identification of auditable activities.
Identifies shortcomings of the internal control system of the bank and proposes remedial action.
Examines and verifies source documents for the accuracy and correctness of accounting and financial transactions.
Audits the accuracy of calculations on commissions, currency conversions, interests and foreign banking transactions.
Checks documents of foreign banking activities and verifies the validity and authenticity of invoices.
Job Requirements;BA Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or Business Administration with 5 years of relevant auditing experience preferably in bank area or MA in the same fields with 3 years of relevant audit experiencePlace of work: Addis Ababa3. Job Position: Branch AuditorEssential Functions
Undertake audit examination,
Review transaction and the proper functioning of the internal control procedures throughout the Branch,
Conducts special investigation when needed,
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
