Pro Pride, an Ethiopian Residents Charity Organization, would like to hire qualified professionals for its USAID Community HIV Care and Treatment (CHCT) project supported by Project Hope and partners.Position: Community Engagement Facilitators (Clinical Nurse)Duty Station: Dire Dawa, Harar, Chiro, Gelemso, Metehara, Awash Sebat,Salary: As per the organization’s salary scaleReports to: Technical Officer/Project OfficerOverall Responsibility: Under the direct supervision of the Technical Officer, the Community Engagement Facilitator is mainly responsible to perform community based HIV testing, facilitate linkage between community to health facility and vice versa, case management for PLHIV in the community, build capacity of community structures as well as record and report community services.Qualification: Minimum of Diploma in Nursing with specialized knowledge! training on Adherence Counseling, Couple Counseling and Community HIV counseling, up to date knowledge of developments in HIV Differentiated Service Delivery Models.Work Experience and Technical Skills
Minimum of 3 years experience in providing HIV Testing and Counseling Services. Experience in HIV care and support activities preferably, at community level.Ability to coordinate and support volunteers working in the communityGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and support others in their work
