 Senior Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM) and HIV command post Advisor-Seconded to FMOH Number of positions: One Duty station: FMOH, Addis Ababa Job Summary: The PHEM and HIV Catch-Up Initiative (CUI) command post advisor will provide technical support to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) and Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) on the development and implementation of PHEM and HIV/AIDS CUI programs. He/she will provide technical support to the FMOH and EPHI in the development and implementation of DHIS2 focusing on the PHEM components and support the ministry in the implementation and monitoring of HIV CUI as part of the command post that aims to strengthen the national capacity to increase HIV/AIDS case uptake. Duties and responsibilities §  Provide technical support to the FMOH/HITD and EPHI in the development and integration of electronic PHEM system into the Ethiopian customized DHIS 2 §  Support the implementation of electronic PHEM system at different levels of the health system in Ethiopia §  Perform regular analysis and interpretation of PHEM and laboratory data and develop policy and program briefs to decision makers §  Support the FMOH in collection, compilation, analysis, and  interpretation of CUI data §  Provide feedback and need based technical assistance (TA) to the regional CUI M & E focal persons §  Conduct periodic supportive supervision and provide technical support for selected sites together with other command post team members §  Generate and submit monthly progress reports to FMOH, EPHI, and ICAP Ethiopia §  Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
