At present, CRS/Ethiopia implements multiple projects through different partner organizations.  CRS/Ethiopia has a highly diverse portfolio currently focusing on community-based food and livelihood security through activities in agriculture, health, peacebuilding, WASH, emergency relief, and savings and lending. CRS/Ethiopia invites you, the qualified candidate, to apply for the following position; Announcement: Internal/ External Position Title: Project Officer, Health (Core Group Polio Projects and HSD) Duty Station: Addis Ababa with frequent visits to project areas Employment term: Indefinite period contingent upon funding of the HSD & Core Group Polio Projects Reports to: Program Manager, Health Application Deadline January 14, 2018 Job Summary: The Health Project Officer will largely (70%) work in the USAID-funded Core Group Polio Project (CGPP). CGPP is starting its follow-on five years of implementation and aims to contribute polio eradication activities in Ethiopia. CRS is a sub-recipient to World Vision and will work directly with Church partners (HCS and SDCOBD) in their implementation of polio eradication activities in Siti and Metekel Zones, respectively.  The remaining percentage of time (30%) will be dedicated to the Health System Development (HSD) project which is in its 3rd year of implementation. This project is in partnership with Ethiopian Catholic Secretariat (ECS) and seeks to strengthen the Catholic church health facilities healthcare delivery system. The Health Project Officer will be the main focal person for these two projects and will work closely in partnership and provision of technical support to CCRDA/CORE Group, HCS, SDCOBD, and ECS.
