ChildFund Ethiopia, an international non-profit humanitarian organization working in different regions of Ethiopia for the well being of children, is seeking experienced candidate for the position of Area Assurance Officer. The Area Assurance Officer helps Area Offices and Local Partners to comply with the ChildFund and statutory requirements.  He/she will be responsible for conducting local partners’ internal review, follow-up on audit findings resolutions follow-ups.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Conducts internal review of the Area Offices operations on compliance with Child Fund’s policies, procedures and systems.Advises local partners in consultation with Assurance Manager, Finance Director, and Program Director for policies, procedures and systems revisions, enhancement and innovations in order to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and accountability.Assist Assurance Manager in reviewing local partners’ internal control systems adequacy and effectiveness in accordance with Child Fund’s requirements, LPs needs and according to the local regulations and good practices.Contributes to the local partners’ capacity building efforts for standard Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).Supports the local partners on annual statutory/project audits and ensuring that the audits are conducted timely and in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.Coordinates local partners’ reviews in consultation with the Area Manages and ensure timely and adequate readiness of the local partners to carry out the reviews.Support and monitor Local Partners in the implementation of audit recommendations.Terms of employment:     One year with a possibility of extension based on proven Performance
