Fentale Children’s and Family Charitable Organization is an Ethiopian indigenous charitable Organization for the well-being of children, is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Early Childhood Development (ECD) Project coordinator. The ECD Project  Coordinator  is responsible for planning, implementing , monitoring and evaluation of an ECD  grant Project of  Fentale Children’s and Family Charitable Organization  entitled “ Strengthening Holistic ECD service in Fentale Woreda “. The Coordinator  works with all relevant Fentale Children’s and Family Charitable Organization and ChildFund or the donor organization’s staff, relevant stakeholders in realizing objectives and outcomes outlined by the project Major Responsibilities Responsible for guiding, coordinating, implementing and monitoring all ECD, health and nutrition activities of the project  Facilitates and/ or organizes relevant training and capacity building activities,Conducting regular monitoring and follow up on ECDproject indicators, produce monthly quarterly and annual reports of acceptable quality standard,Mobilize ,coordinates and engage various stakeholders related to the ECD project implementation. Coordinate his/her activities with stakeholders working in areas of health, nutrition, livelihood, protection, WASH and education /early stimulation to bring maximum impact and achievement of project objectives and outcomes. Use the potential of the project to enhance access of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children to ECD services, improve quality of learning and development environment within the preschools/ECD centers targeted by the project, and strengthen ECD management committees, PTAs and Woreda ECD coordinating Committees, work closely with health office, health center and health posts for quality improvements of Maternal and Child Health services. Develops concept papers for NSP and grants to expand the project beyond its current scope. Support staff and affiliate partners in achieving project objectives and outcomes Provide onsite visits and technical supports to project sites (ECD centers, health centers & health posts)  to monitor progress, assess project effectiveness and recommend modificationDocuments project best practices and achievementsEmployment Type: Two years with possibility of extension based on performanceReports to: Manager
