<p>Mahibere Hiwot for Social Development (MSD), a Non-Political and non-profit Ethiopian Resident Charity is currently implementing “Community HIV care and Treatment (CHCT)” Project in Amhara National Regional State, in collaboration with HOPE-Ethiopia/USAID Funded project.</p> <p>MSD is looking for qualified and competent applicants for the Monitoring Evaluation Learning (MEL) Coordinator posts.</p><p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Major Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p><p>Assist the development of MEL system, regularly track project progress and facilitate impact evaluation in terms of project’s contribution towards achieving wider objectives and goals;</p><ul><li>Organize and/or conduct monitoring and internal reviews based on schedule;</li><li>Proper monitoring cheek list for the project office and the organization;</li><li>Emplace data base Project intervention targets;</li><li>Conduct regular monitoring with project coordination team;</li><li>Provide technical assistance for organization staffs and the organisation on data gathering documenting and reporting;</li><li>Makes filed visits and uses other appropriate methods to assess progress and impacts of projects implemented by project area and organization;</li><li>Organizes project evaluations against the original project and insure that it suggests way of correcting deviations;</li><li>Consolidate monitoring and evaluation findings/data and make available for the project coordinator and other staffs;</li><li>Assist the presentation, delivery and documentation of research or key learning pieces to key stakeholders :</li><li>Together with program, conduct research and learning activities at a program level and coordinate expertise around baselines, learning reviews and evaluation related activities;.</li><li>In collaboration with other project units and partners, plans and coordinates joint monitoring visits and project review sessions;</li><li>Make sure project data is timely entered into data base: properly analyze data and generate analytical summaries to be used for reporting;</li><li>Together with the program prepare periodic report, consolidated annual work plans to be submitted to the donor relevant Government Offices and MSD Head office;</li><li>Document best experiences and lessens for learning when advised by program officer and program coordinator;</li><li>Compile a quarterly monitoring and evaluation report and submit to his/her supervisor;</li><li>Provide training on documentation and adequate assistance for staffs and other relevant stakeholders </li><li>Facilitates compilation of regular monitoring reports prepared by different projects along with evaluation recommendations;</li><li>Provides data deemed important for concept paper or proposal development;</li><li>Extend technical support to MSD Staffs in the identification of solutions to MEL challenges they are encountering;</li><li>Compile, share and disseminate lesson learned, promising pracitices and challenge;</li><li>Keeps up to date with developments in the sector (self-help group approach, including best practice examples in-country and internationally, and ensure on-going personal development and learning;</li><li>Ensure the communication of learning within the organisation, with partners and other stakeholders;</li><li>Carry out other related activities as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.</li></ul><p><b>Report to: </b> HO Senior M&E coordinator</p><p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Number Required:</span> 1 (One)</p><p><b>Term Of Employment: </b>One year contract with Possible Extension</p>
