    Lead the Infrastructure Unit and ensure the all IT infrastructures required by the business (be Systems, Networks, Power Solutions, Connectivity, any Hardware and software systems are placed with in the required standards, timeliness and cost effectiveness in a stable up-to-date reliable and secured way so as to enable the organization’s business using various acquisition, upgrading, maintaining, innovating based on solid understanding of business requirements and changes in alignment with WV IT strategies and standards, by working with clients, stakeholders and the team in the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure solutions deployment(developing and establishing IT infrastructure standards and procedures; assessing, selecting, recommending, designing, testing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions (hardware and software systems) administration, documentation, capacity building and support of the same)

    Major duties:-

    Manage and set priorities for the assessment, make or buy analysis, design, development/maintenance/upgrade and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LAN, WANs, Internet, Security, Wireless, Disaster Recovery , UPS and power related implementations and so on
    Design and implement short- and long- term strategic plans to ensure Infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements at all levels and participate in the development of IT strategies and other managerial activities in collaboration with the ICT department management team.

    Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, procedures, and associated training plans for Infrastructure administration and project management and ensure proper documentation of overall infrastructure including change management

    Develop business case proposals, specifications, Terms of References, evaluation criteria, acceptance test checklists and ensure its implementations
    Manage and ensure Infrastructure performance tests and reports (systems, network, security, disaster recovery, etc) are performed in a planned and regular manner with appropriate testing plans and approval

    Negotiate with Vendors and Service Providers to secure and ensure infrastructure-specific products and services delivery are as per ICT and industry standards.

    Plan and manage operational infrastructure related projects and activities build ICT team capacity, monitor and evaluation overall IT infrastructure, consolidate and maintain update IT inventory, conduct short and long term financial forecasts for expanded functionality at all levels (HO, RO, CP and APs).
    Engage in and ensure appropriate tools like CFP, coaching and mentoring etc are practiced within the department to enhance smooth staff relations and accountability;
