Addis Abeba Hopefull River Project The Hopeful River Project (HRP) is hosted by Tena Kebenana Ginfile Enatsda Mahiber, a youth organization working on environmental issues to raise environmental awareness and advocate in the local community. The HRP is an initiative to rehabilitate and restore the Tinishu Akaki river ecosystem.  In parallel, the project raise awareness and advocate for sustainable waste management both from domestic and industrial waste sources. In line with this, the HRP, wants to conduct an action research to exhaustively identify and compile baseline data of the sources of pollutants to the Tinishu Akaki river.
