Addis Ababa, June 16, 2018 (FBC) -Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed will travel to the SNNP regional state next week to hold consultation with residents regarding recent conflicts.

The government is considering to establish a commission that will respond to any of the public questions related to administrative border issues, ENA quoted the Premier as saying.
Supported by research-based decisions, the commission will root-out border problems arising in some parts of the country.
The Premier urged the youth, elderly, and the entire society of the region to stand united and defend peace.

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2018 (FBC) - Forces from a Saudi and Emirati led coalition have captured the airport in Yemen's port city of Hudaida, military officials announced on Twitter.

In a post on Saturday, an account associated with the Saudi-alligned Yemeni military said the airport had been "freed from the grip of the Houthi militia" and that de-mining operations were ongoing.
Hudaida airport is located just to the south of the city-proper with heavy fighting still ongoing on Hudaida's southern edges.
Houthi sources have not yet confirmed their loss of the airport.

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2018 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed arrived in Mogadishu, Somalia for a state visit today.

Upon arrival in Mogadishu, the Ethiopian Premier was warmly received by Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, known as Farmajo.
PM Dr Abiy and the Somali President are expected to hold discussion on bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern.
