ኢትዮጵያ ወደ ውጭ ከምትልካቸው በተለይም የቡና ምርት ትልቋ ተቀባይ ሀገር የኾነችው አሜሪካ፣ የቀረጥ ነጻ ዕድል(አጎዋ) ተጠቃሚነትን ስትከለክል፤ የኢትዮጵያ የውጪ ምርቶች አነስተኛ ተቀባይ የኾነችው ቻይና፣ የቀረጥ ወይም የዜሮ ታሪፍ ተጠቃሚነትን ፈቅዳለች፡፡


በዚኽ ሥርዓት፣ የኢትዮጵያ የውጭ ንግድ ተጠቃሚ ነው? በዚኽ ጉዳይ ላይ፣ የአሜሪካ ድምፅ በውጭ ንግድ ላይ የተሰማሩትን የኢትዮጵያ ጥራጥሬ እና ቅባት እህል ላኪዎች ማኅበር የቦርድ ሊቀ መንበር አቶ ኤዳኦ አብዲንና ከዊሊያም ፓተርሰን ኒውጀርሲ ዩኒቨርስቲ መምህር እና “China in Ethiopia: The Long-Term Perspective” የሚል መጽሐፍ እ.አ.አ በ2020 ያሳተሙት ፕሮፌሰር አሮን ተስፋዬን አነጋግሯል፡፡




ፕሮፌሰር አሮን፣ ኢትዮጵያ ወደ ውጭ በምትልካቸው ምርቶች ላይ ተጨማሪ ዕሴቶችን በማከል የተጠናቀቁ ምርቶችን ካላቀረበች፣ "ለየትኛውም ሀገር ብትልክ አትራፊ አትኾንም፤" ይላሉ፡፡ በዚኽ የሚስማሙት አቶ ኤዳኦም፣ ብዙ ሥራ መሥራት እንደሚጠበቅ ይመክራሉ፡፡
