As a not-for-profit, independent research institute based in North Carolina, USA, RTI has roughly 5,000 employees with global experience implementing international development projects. RTI's Sustainable Growth & Resilience (SG&R) technical unit within the International Development Group brings together RTI experts and capabilities across food security, agriculture, energy, environment, water, governance, and economic opportunity. SG&R will leverage RTI's experience designing and delivering multisectoral programming and technical solutions to respond to climate change, build resilience, and promote economic growth around the world.RTI is looking for three individual consultants to undertake value chain assessment on selected crops (potato and haricot bean), livestock (sheep and goat) and fish in Amhara region for a project, Poverty Reduced Sustainably in an Environment of Resilient and Vibrant Economy (PReSERVE). PReSERVE is a consortium of Food for the Hungry (FH) Ethiopia and its partners, RTI International (RTI), Professional Alliance for Development (PADet), Amhara Development Association (ADA), Bahir Dar University (BDU), Dimagi, and iDE. PReSERVE is an integrated activity to improve food security of vulnerable households in targeted Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) communities in Amhara Region and contribute to a sustained reduction in rural poverty.The three individual consultants will be responsible for designing and undertaking the value chain analysis for the selected commodities within 60 working days (proposed from May to July 2022) pertaining to the objectives and activities to ensure high quality deliverables that meet the programming needs of PReSERVE for following interventions in the target areas.For more information click here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p-fk0LkHx8rO9XCMj3TUBTgz28J3B922/view?usp=sharing
