May 15 2017, 8:30 PM: Training "International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)", Addis Chamber Training Institute
Addis Chamber Training institute is planning to conduct a training program entitled “International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)" for the fifth time from May 15-26, 2017 for ten half-days from 8:30A.M. – 12:30P.M. in the morning at Mexico Square, Chamber Building.
Objective: This training is intended to enhance participants’ awareness on the current changing trends of the accountancy profession in our country; AND to capacitate the participants with IFRS knowledge and knowhow of the IFRS implementation process.
Major topics to be covered: -
- General Introduction;
- The conceptual framework for financial reporting;
- The financial statement presentation & disclosure requirements of IFRSs;
- The IFRS recognition, measurement, reporting, & disclosure requirements of transactions & financial statement elements;
- Business combinations & Group Accounts reporting; AND
- Adoption (transition to IFRS) provisions.
Target groups: - This training is intended to the staff members of Public Interest Entities (Financial Institutions and all Public Business Enterprises)
You are, therefore, cordially invited to attend this important training programme with confirmation letter from your respective organization. In view of the limited space available, the registration will be on first come first served basis. The training fee is Birr 3,150 per person for members (A company is considered as a member if its membership fee is settled at least for 2008 Ethiopian Fiscal Year) and Birr 3,780 for non-members. Our policy of fee payment upon registration will be strictly enforced to avoid interruption during the training week with reminders and invoices. Therefore, upon registering with the Training Institute, we kindly request that you effect the payment of the training fee to our Finance Department at Mexico Square Room#9.
