Ethiopian state owned media, EBC, reported that a group of local investors have started the process to build Africa’s biggest mall known as Hedasse Grand Shopping Mall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital. The report indicates that the mall will have over 250,000 square meters of space and 5000 shops.
CHINA WU YI CO., LTD has won the contract to be build the Mall. The Chinese construction company will give a 20% long term interest free loan to the company.
The share company that will own the mall is founded by 25 professionals from different backgrounds and will be chaired by Ahmedin Mohamed.
