Addis Ababa, July 4, 2018 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday held talks with representatives of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council (EIASC) and Ethiopian Muslim Arbitration Committee.

During the talks, the two parties agreed to resolve their issues peacefully and in accordance with Islamic teachings, according to Fitsum Arega, the chief of staff for the Prime Minister.
Ethiopian Muslim Arbitration Committee expressed its support for the ongoing reforms in the country.
In a letter sent to the Prime Minister, the Committee also raised five questions which concern the Muslim community.
