Addis Ababa, July 5, 2018 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday sent a message to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir days after clash erupted between farmers from both countries in the border area.
The message was conveyed by Ethiopia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu, during a meeting with President al-Bashir and Sudanese Foreign Minister, al-Dardiri Mohammed Ahmed, in Khartoum.
“The message is about bilateral relations and regional issues” Dr Workneh said in a press statement.
He added the two countries will work in cooperation and coordination to address all the problems that occur in the border area.
Meanwhile, Ahmed said the Ethiopian Prime Minister and President al-Bashir have stressed on their countries determination to overcome such events.
