Addis Ababa, June 29, 2018 (FBC) –Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian) will be welcoming the ultra-modern and first of its kind Boeing 737 Max aircraft on July 2, 2018.

Representatives from Boeing Company, Ethiopian GCEO, prominent personalities and the Airline’s management team will be at the colorful event to be held at Ethiopian Airlines Head Quarters.
Ethiopian, the largest aviation group on the continent, has taken delivery of its 100th aircraft, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on June 6, 2018, once again leading the way in fleet expansion and modernization in Africa.
Ethiopian commands the lion’s share of the pan-African passenger and cargo network operating the youngest and most modern fleet to more than 110 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents.
Ethiopian was the first African Airline and second only to Japan to operate the B787 Dreamliner in 2012 and the first carrier in Africa to usher with the Airbus A350 XWB in 2016.
It currently holds stakes in a number of national carriers across Africa.
In a related development, Ethiopian will begin a new flight to Barcelona, second in Spain, and 13th European destination, on July 1, 2018.
Ambassador of Spain along with diplomatic corps will grace the event.
