[Ethiopian Herald] ADDIS ABABA - The two-time Olympic gold medalist Ethiopian Meseret Defar won the women's Synchrony Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Half Marathon on Sunday with a consummate ease at a time of one hour, eight minutes and 26 seconds leaving behind Jane Kibii of Kenya, who clocked 1:12:00 to take the second place. Kaitlyn James of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, was third in 1:13:54.
