Addis Ababa, June 11, 2018 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu bade farewell to the outgoing Ambassador Sudan to Ethiopia, Jamal Elshaikh Ahmed today.
Dr. Workneh thanked Ambassador Elshaikh for his efforts during his tenure, and particularly for strengthening the multifaceted relations between the two brotherly countries, as epitomized by the strong people-to-people relations Ethiopia and the Sudan enjoyed over the years.
Dr. Workneh further expressed his best wishes to Ambassador Elshaikh Ahmed in his future endeavors.
The Ambassador, on his part, thanked notable figures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia for the cooperation and all the good efforts dedicated at strengthening the bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and the Sudan.
At the end of their talks, Dr. Workneh conferred a certificate of appreciation and other invaluable tokens on Ambassador Elshaikh Ahmed.
