Addis Ababa, May 19, 2018 (FBC) – Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has concluded his visit to the Middle East.
During his three day-trip to the region, the Premier visited the Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In Saudi Arabia, he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salamn and held discussion on bilateral, regional, and global issues of mutual concern.
Ethiopian Premier on the occasion reiterated the importance of protecting Ethiopians living in Saudi Arabia.
The two sides have agreed to strengthen the people-to-people ties and cooperation in agricultural and energy sectors.
In the UAE, the Ethiopian Premier conferred with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The two sides discussed ways of boosting ties of friendship and cooperation and took a stock of an array of the latest regional and global issues of mutual concern.
They have also explored the prospects of bilateral cooperation across the economic, trade and investment fields in order to serve mutual interests.
