*Spoiler alert*
If anyone has seen Black Panther they would have seeen the mass amount of different cultures and from different parts of Africa incorporated but its also worthy to note the amount of parallels between Black Panther/Wakanda and Ethiopia which some might notic

- Wakanda was a country located on East Africa that was not colonized but despite that it was known to the world as poor. Ethiopia was also an East African country not colonized and is also known to the West only for its poverty.

- Wakanda for generations was run by a traditional Monarchy; Ethiopia also was run by a dynastic monarchy that stretched continuously for millenniums almost uninterrupted.

-Wakanda was inhabited by various different tribes that often fought each other but ultimately united and loyally served under the leadership of a sovereign King, aka the Black Panther. Ethiopia also was inhabited by dozens of many tribes that were ultimately incorporated and ruled by the Emperor and successfully rallied them together against foreign threats and invasions i.e Ottoman Egypt, Italy.

- Wakanda had followed a traditional isolationist policy, wanting to avoid the world strifes and problems ; Ethiopia also remained isolated from Europe and the Near East for centuries at many points in history due to various upending political circumstances.

-Wakanda had internal struggles and turmoil with younger Wakandans such as N’kalla about whether open up to the world and become more modernizing, much of which was opposed. Ethiopia also went through a period of modernization vs conservatism debate with its people, especially in the 1910s between Haile Sellasie who wished to push Ethiopia towards modernization such as education and keeping up with the rest of the world , and royal conservative factions in the royal court who despised Europeans and European culture and wanted to avoid them.

In addition to this, not only did Black Panther incorporate many of the cultures such as lip wearing and ritual scarring of the Mursi and Surma tribes as many saw, but if you notice closely it also included traditional Ethiopian Christian Orthodox Crosses that were worn by the Merchant Tribe elders as seen
