These contracts involve lots of capcity building programmes and project evaluation activities.For this purpose, PRIN is currently looking for hiring specialists (national or international) who are vibrant, energetic, ambitious, experienced, highly competent and motivated to grow on their careers in order to fill in the following positionsPosition : Graphics Designer and Layout SpecialistThe Graphic and Layout Designer specialist is directly answerable to the General Manager of the Firm. The Candidate, without prejudice to the responsibilities of the General Manager of the Firm, shall have the responsibilities to: Job Summary:The Graphic and Layout Designer develops the overall layout and production design for instructional materials, booklets, brochures, magazines, and corporate report. Duties and Responsibilities:
Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts;
Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material and discussing them with clients and/or PRIN team and making necessary changes and incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design;
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, charts, graphs, company logos, internet websites and other artwork;
Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services;
Collaborate internally as well as with clients to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms;
keeping informed on latest trends and forecasts;
He/ She works with both text and images and illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts;
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
any other task assigned by the General Manager.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience: BSc/MSc in graphic design or related field of studies. The specialist should have significant and additional skill and professional development trainings is an asset. At least 5 years designing experiences in design firm or related institutions/organizations The applicant is required to be a creative, innovative and strategic thinker, and will have an excellent communication skills (written and spoken English), analytical and artistic skills of the current designing situation of the country and the world, reporting, organizational, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills; and finally proven ability to produce results and Up to date with new software and technologies (In design, illustrators, dream weaver, Photoshop etc). The specialist should be able to present (name) at least three designing and layout based projects that have been monitored or evaluated in the last two to three years. Number required: One
