Profile With the mission of realizing persons’ with disabilities human rights, and to see people with disabilities and different abilities as equal members of an Ethiopian society that values each person’s potential to the fullest, TOGETHER provides rehabilitation services, vocational training, digital skills, professional integration and inclusion, and engages in awareness raising and research for lobbying and advocacy works. Since its establishment in 2013, the organization can look back to its ten years of experience and success of its core units: Rehabilitation temporarily sheltered and community based rehabilitation for women Education equipping persons with visual impairment with the cultural technique and fundamental tool for today’s education: digital literacyEarly Childhood Education for children of persons with any kind of impairmentIndividual Scholarships for secondary and tertiary education Profession training of skills (leather works, handicrafts, food preparation) and knowledge to compete on the job market for (self) -employment audio book production and virtual library Creative Awareness Raising through encounters and events of people with and without impairment by challenging common perceptions, perspectives and rolesdialogue and dinner in the dark inclusive theatre, dance and fashion shows fine art workshops and exhibitions Prevention of Blindness Duties and Responsibilities Sustainable Fund Acquisition Ensure resource availability and allocation for TOGETHER’s comprehensive human rights based program Establish and maintain constructive relationships with funding agencies for long term engagementExtend and diversify partnerships with funding agenciesConduct donor mapping and regularly update and communicate their profile Project Design Design context relevant innovative projects in collaboration with management and team members and all relevant stakeholdersEnsure technical feasibility of designed projects Project Implementation and Coordination Review, negotiate and share donor contracts to ensure confidence in meeting contractual requirementsCoordinate start-up processes for any new grant income, to clarify roles and responsibilities and to facilitate successful implementation and grant managementCoordinate in general project implementation Develop detailed project plans to track progress towards agreed upon developmentsGuide and coordinate project teams and staff members accordingly Monitoring and Evaluation Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesPerform risk management to minimize project risks Ensure that all projects are delivered in a qualitative manner on-time, within scope and within budgetUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Communication and Reporting Maintain clear communication channels internally and externallyBuild team spirit for common goals, mission and visionCommunicate effectively and with integrity with colleagues, members, stakeholders, donors and government partners to maintain respect and good relationshipReport and document project delivery according donor requirementsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationContribute essentially to TOGETHER’ s future orientated strategy and developmentBe accountable to the Executive Director
